/ When Things Got Physical

/ When Things Got Physical When things got physical, I had crossed some lines.

My body tried things it has never tried before.

I tried this. I tried that.

I loved this but not that,

but when I got that, I wanted this. When things got physical, It took too long

and it was always too hard.

Too tiring. Too “not in the mood”. My heart wanted more. So I listened to my body. I listened to my mind. It said, start with your brain to transform your pain. I gave it time, energy, and applaud. I invested blood, sweat, and tears. So when things got physical,

I woke up a little earlier, danced a little more, celebrated the weight loss and appreciated the muscle gains. Because when things got physical, I put down the excuses,

and I picked up the possibilities.
